Does DLee have more doubles than any teams?

No. The White Sox only have 28 doubles.

Darn. I was hoping for an early season fluke because of the small sample size so far.

This team is starting to fire on all cylanders. I like it. Weekend Probables: Zambrano, Hill, Guzman (probable)

perfect time to face the Nationals.

NL Central soon to be a two team race - Cubs and Brewers.

Easy, easy...Let's get to .500 first.

doesn't sound like the voice of reason to me...lets just beat up on the nationals some first and get to .500

The Sox have the fewest, with 28.

TWO days late, and a dollar short.

Hopefully the bad Guz won't show up...

Don't worry. If he does, he'll get roughed up for two innings, and then Theriot will just walk on the field and take over. Lou won't even have to ask. He'll throw seven shutout innings while going 4 for 4. Then, at the postgame, he'll yell "YES, I CAN DO IT ALL...BITCH!" :D

If Dye and/or Konerko get hurt, I think Lee has a real chance, small sample size or not.

White Sox = danger of believing your own hype

2 outs in the 7th inning, Cubs down 5-2 with their worst hitter up. The rain starts to pour down on the field and the Cubs season.

Was this the turning point of the season?

More fan fiction, pls.

Tell us about Rocky Cherry's first day in the clubhouse.

About 1000 words would be nice.

It could be. I was at a bar and I couldn't stop screaming! My Wife had to calm me down...

Pie K's swinging

He's gonna be back at AAA if he doesn't stop that

I think he should go back anyway just so he can play every day. The Murt will get a little more time as well. I don't know who plays CF when Jock needs a day off though.

Hmmm...Perhaps Guz won't be pitching this weekend:

"Boy, I tell you what, I'm surprised that this young man pitched the way he did," manager Lou Piniella said. "I was expecting six or seven innings of work each time out, giving up two, three runs and striking out a few, and get his work in and get up here. But a [12.19] ERA in three starts in Triple-A? I don't have an explanation for it. I really don't. And we're gong to have to revisit this thing on Friday for what we do."

Don't be so pessimistic, have the Cubs ever disappointed you before?

It is depressing that even with this win, the Cubs will still be 5.5 games behind the Brewers because everyone they have played is terrible and can't beat them even once. Stupid Cardinals. They screw the Cubs even when they lose.
