I'm happy with the move. We can't count on Ellis for anything after he tore his Achilles, and Carpenter is probably more suited to play inside. Basically we gave up our 1st, 3rd, and 5th to move down 4 spots and pick up a top 10 next year. That's not too bad.

They replaced him with Jason David from the Colts.

 

And ya, Fred Thomas might have had the worst year any CB has ever had for a team as good as the Saints.
