I've already mentally prepared myself for a loss. I know I shouldn't even bother and I don't really want to but I know I'll end up watching this game.

i've made it so i can't watch the game....going to watch iowa take on nashville at greer....couldn't go last nite but i'm guessing i didn't miss much after hearing how bad gooz was from my g/f...hopefully o'malley shuts them down today.

p.s. nashville acquired none other than jose "the gremlin" macias earlier in the year...here's to hoping he's starting today so i can shower him with unwanted sentiments.

Going to my local Pub with Beer garden to watch this one. Not expecting much, but the Cards Offense hasn't done much. hopefully Wade pitches a decent game...

Believe it or not, the Cubs have won 2 games in a row this season. That's the difference between the two stats.

Fred, I think you should add an explanation every time you post those stats.

Theriot 2B

Floyd LF

Lee 1B

Ramirez 3B

Barrett C

Jones RF

Cedeno SS

Pie CF

Miller P

I think this is what I heard on the radio but I'm guessing on Jones and Cedeno based on yesterday's performances (Lou playing the hot hand) and Floyd being in the lineup.

If Lou's playing the hot hand, shouldn't Murton be in there instead of Floyd? He did go 2-4 yesterday.

Not if he likes the match up of Floyd vs Wainwright more... I see your point but I think Lou wants his most powerful lineup today. It's already 75 degrees here and should be over 80 degrees by game time. It looks like Lou wants the extra power in the line up to take advantage of, what could be, a very offense-friendly day.

Edit: I'm also guessing because Lou likes to play Floyd and Jones in the same lineup but it could be Murton in RF (I just don't think that's the lineup I heard--it went by quickly).

Pie

He is reminding me of Nick Markakis last year. I hoping he manages to hit about 240 until he figures things out. I still rooting for Cedeno because he has real upside. Go Cubs.

Murton reminds me of former A's and diamondback Erubiel Durazo he is not good enough at a single aspect g to get a starting job.

I'm calling a Felix Pie home run today. He really needs to show his strengths to this team and stay in the majors.

Hmmm...I'm not really feeling a HR, but I'm you. I feel he's going to do something special today.
