Marquis is locating his pitches really well so far-almost too well. Once he gets ahead in the pitch, every pitch is either a close ball, or a pitch that the hitter can do nothing but foul off. Unfortunately, they are doing that and protecting and fouling off a ton of pitches and driving up his pitch count.
