He got tossed for clapping?

He was probably mouthing something to the official standing there in the lane and doing the clapping to mock him.

I certainly hope he said something.

The Warriors only have themselves to blame for this one. Some horrible shot selection down the stretch.

HAHAHAHA!!! Stephen Jackson got ejected again. Awesome.

The refs sure didn't help.

What are you referring to...the walk on Dirk? All the stars get that call. The non-over the back ball out on Barnes? It was. Like the announcer just said the Warriors missed their last eight shots and let Dallas go on a 15-0 run to end the game. You can't do that. The refs didn't make them take bad shots. That was their own decision.

Yep, they had awful shot selection, but the refs didn't help matters either.

Oh well, hopefully Golden State closes it out against the NBA's golden boys in Oakland.

I didn't know GS was facing the Spurs/Heat/Lakers/Suns.

Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. Baron already got tossed from a game this series for just clapping.

Dirk hitting Richardson on a 3-point attempt. No foul call. Barnes getting hit on a 3-pt attempt. No foul call. Baron Davis fouling out by...not fouling the Maverick player.

The Lakers definitely are out of the golden boys circle...Mavs sure are in (as are the Pistons).

Well Don Nelson just said that he is going to personally fine Jackson a "substantial amount" for being thrown out of the game again because he "obviously doesn't get it."

Baron was sarcastically clapping and it was deemed as showing up the referee - which it most likely was. That's not tolerated this year in the NBA.

As for Jackson, I would be extremely surprised if he DIDN'T say something. Dude is a hothead.

Not saying Jackson didn't say anything, but that could be Nelson trying to talk the league out of a suspension.

Yeah, I'm sure that every single call went against the Warriors and the Mavericks didn't get hosed once in the game. That's realisitic. Open your eyes and see the truth.

The Warriors blew this game and trying to lay the blame on the referees is stupid and absurd. The Warriors themselves lost the game and the referees didn't help them do it.

Even when the officials don't call a walk on Dirk and he hits a 3 late in the game?

Maybe it was a make-up call for the phantom foul in last year's finals.

Could be, but no need to punish the Warriors for that.

As I said before, every star gets that call not just Dirk.

Could've sworn I saw AI get called for that last night. Then again, I could be wrong. Either way, that doesn't make it right.

If you want to say the NBA refs suck, I'll agree. They stole the finals from the Mavs last year, so I'll take whatever I can get this year.

And Tim Duncan had it coming too for laughing on the bench. (Forget Jackson...dude is an idiot. The Davis technical was awful.)

The calls down the stretch were one-sided. I didn't say the Mavericks didn't get bad calls during the game, but the calls went their way down the stretch.

I didn't say the Warriors didn't play poorly - they did. And they sure as hell needed to realize they had to get the ball to Baron Davis even if he's doubled rather than have Richardson or Jackson force the issue. But, I said the refs didn't help.

I heard on the radio a few minutes ago that the NBA is looking into a scuffle that supposedly happened between Jason Richardson and a fan. If they find anything, the radio guy said that a suspension would be handed down fairly quickly.

Baron's clapping was showing up the referee. A couple years ago (it could have been last year) in a Champions League match (yes, I know it's a different sport but bear with me) Wayne Rooney got his second yellow for clapping in a referee's face after he had just received a yellow card for a foul he committed. He was showing up the referee and got penalized for it. Same thing with Baron. He was stupid to have done it and deserved what he got. Comparing it to the Tim Duncan situation is different. Crawford obviously had it out for Duncan (re: "do you want to fight") whereas I doubt the referee tonight had it out for Davis.

The refs may not have helped Golden State but they sure as hell didn't hurt the Warriors.
