Ted Lilly: 1-1, 2.37 ERA, 19.0 IPs, 24K/3BB

The full batter/pitcher matchups will probably be posted later, but I'll just post a few highlights.

Obviously, nobody has that many at-bats against Looper always being in the bullpen.

Barrett is 7/11 with 2 2B and 1 BB

Ramirez is 2/11

DeRosa is 1/7

Lee is 1/5 with 3 K

Jones 3/4

Izturis 2/4

On the other side, the batter/pitcher matchups are going to be messed up all series long with Lilly in the AL for so long, Marquis a Cardinal for the last 3 years, and Miller's appearances being years ago. Here's a couple highlights though for Lilly:

Eckstein: 4/22

Spezio-2/13

Encarnacion-4/11

Kennedy-3/8

Pujols-2/6, 2 K

wow they have the exact same ERA strange

Just look at Lilly's K/BB and then you'll see who will probably keep the lower ERA. But I noticed that too on cubs.com before. Crazy.

Nothing to special here other than Encarnacion and Kennedy. He's been good against the Cards.

Chicago Cubs Vs. Braden Looper

Looks like things are to our advantage in this game. Ramirez not looking so good.. Barrett looking great. Maybe Jones will have a decent day.

So lets get another win.. !SBUC OG STEL

I have both Albert Pujols and Ted Lilly on my fantasy team. (I've benched Albert for the moment though, he's been dragging my team through the dirt long enough  )

I wonder who is singing the 7th inning stretch, especially it being 4/20... Damian Marley?

Josh Hamilton.

I have my doubts that what we will witness tomorrow will resemble "baseball". But it's Cubs and Cards, so it'll be entertaining at least.

Can't wait to see the Cards outfield trying to catch wind-blown fly balls....unfortunately the Cubs will probably manage to counter that by being unable to drive in the unearned runs (the earned ones too, most likely).

If you like good baseball, this might be one series to tune out.

I don't know. I think the 2 teams will "step up" against eachother.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Looper is going to win the Cy Young, its inevitable. Then the White Sox and Cardinals are going to meet in the WS which will be played at Wrigley. In game 7, both teams will decide to share the title and proceed to burn Wrigley to the ground, rape and pillage all the Cub fans and then piss on Wrigley's ashes...... With the way baseball has gone the past few years, like I said, its inevitable.
