I'm not watching the Rangers game, but going back and looking as Sammy's AB on gameday it looks like it was a bad call by the ump. The pitch he K'd on was a breaking ball low and away that appears to be off the plate.

With Oswalt pitching a heck of a game, and both Lee and Berkman launching homers tonight if they lose you should rip the News-Star a new one.

Oswalt with a CG to pick up the win for the Astros. It took him only 94 pitches, hopefully he isn't this good against the Cubs next week.

Hopefully he's hittable, but yeah I'm definitely not holding my breath for Oswalt to not pitch well. He's rock solid... my pick to win the Cy Young this year actually. Not many people realize that his career ERA+ is basically equal to Clemens and Santana. Health permitting, he's a future Hall of Famer, no question.

Well he's allowed 5 hits and 1 ER both times out, and that's been against the Pirates and Cards. We've got a better offense than those 2 when we're on so my guess is 7 hits and 2 ER off Oswalt, and he goes 8 innings.

I'm watching the Angels/Oakland game. Eric Chavez was just in a rundown between 2nd and 3rd. The third basemen was running him back to 2nd, threw the ball to 2nd base, the ball hit Chavez in the head bounced right to the player covering 2nd, meanwhile Chavez turns to run to 3rd. The 2nd baseman throws the ball to the Mike Napoli (catcher) who is covering 3rd and he tags Chavez out.

 

Hope that makes sense. It was a funny looking play.
