Daytona and Brevard County are tied up at 2 after 6 innings. Mitch Atkins' night should be over now.

Tyler Colvin has been superb with the glove in CF, Derek has been raving about him all night.

Matt Matulia doubles to deep LF (Derek and Matt thought it should be ruled a HR, Jody Davis came out to argue but the umps kept the initial ruling) to score Jake Muyco. Daytona leads it 3-2.

That 6-1 K-BB is great, especially after his control problems at West Tenn last season.

Jesse Estrada is out of the pen to relieve Mitch Atkins. Mitch's final line is: 6 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 4 K, 1 BB, 1 HR.

 

Iowa gets 1 run back in the top of the second, they're down 2-1 in the bottom of the second.

 

Billy Muldowney gave up 2 in the bottom of the second and the Chiefs now lead it 7-2 in the third inning.
