First time I've heard Ron and Pat since September... I love it! :D

Is the game on 720?

yes. aaaaahh, maybe that's why I'm so far behind. I'm listening to gameday audio.

I'm listening on XM. Not sure how far behind my pbp has been.

You're ahead of my radio by a mile, but that's because I don't get this game :D

Thanks for the pbp Vance-it is much appreciated.

Hall grounds out.

I really think Marquis has rediscovered his sinker.

That's what I'm most excited about-not even that he hasn't given up many runs at all, but the fact that most of his outs are ground balls-if he continues to do that, he'll have a good season.

It's about the amount of time it takes you to type it behind mine.

I love XM.

Just more proof that Fox is making Barrett look like Bench... I was hooting and hollering until I realized it should be a relatively common occurance.

If Marquis' sinker is working he definitely won't be giving up 30+ homeruns...

As exciting is Lilly developing a sinker ball. He too has been getting the majority of his outs on ground balls. You have to love that! :D

Barrett vs Vargas

pitch one: strike looking

pitch two: foul back to the screen

pitch three: ball (curveball, low)

pitch four: reaches on E-7.

Jenkins dropped a lazy fly ball.

Barrett advances all the way to second.

i thought lilly was a fly ball pitcher. sure a sinker would get groundouts, but overall?

Normally, he's an extreme fly ball pitcher but he's working a sinker into his repertoire. This Spring he's been getting a lot of ground balls. Yesterday I read that he's trying to gain confidence in the pitch so he can use it during the regular season.

Every little bit helps!
