I'd have to say the "friend" in the booth with Pat and Ron is Ronnie's grandson Sam.

 

I thought so but the caption on WGN TV called him a "friend" so I went with it...

The AP caption is wrong on this one, that's Rey Ordonez. Not only does it look like him, but he turned the 1-6-3 double play that Izturis grounded into in the second inning, forcing Murton at 2nd.

He's a guest coach/instructor. He originally planned to stay a week but has since extended his stay; he spoke live on today's Cubs game.
