chris carpenter has perfect mechanics.

No one has "perfect" mechanics.

Chris Carpenter smokes Marlboro Reds and does indeed have flawless mechanics.

Those so called "flawless" mechanics have lead to Carpenter having labrum surgery, and a bicep injury in 04 that made him miss the 04 playoffs. Carpenter is one of those "lunging" type pitchers. He lunges forward which can cause a limit in hip rotation. This is my opinion, but maybe his shoulder injury was caused by not getting enough hip rotation or shoulder rotation which causes you to throw more with your arm, which in the end leads to arm injuries.

The guy in your avatar might be close to having "perfect" mechanics. Other than that, there is no such thing as perfect mechanics. Every pitcher has a flaw.

I wasn't being serious. I'm not dumb.

Except about the Marlboro reds. He does smoke those.

Lance Berkman

Nick is going to chose every first baseman so someone is going to get stuck with Shea Hillenbrand...genius strategy.

I'd like to go ahead and make my next selection please.

Doesn't Berkman have OF eligibility?

Yeah he does, he played a good amount of games in the OF last year. I was just kidding, I love Berkman. Hes a keeper on my real fantasy team. I would have taken him if Papi was off the board in this draft.

Man, I really can't lose with my next pick. Can't believe two guys are still there... Hopefully Wolfie takes one of them so I don't have to fight with myself who to take :D
