Just heard on the score Steve Stone may end up being the Nationals tv color guy. I'm not sure if he been offered the job or if they are just in discussions. He said the biggest draw back would be leaving Chicago.

Good luck to Steve.

Well, the Nats just let Tom Pacoriek (sp?) go, so this wouldn't surprise me.

Stone can let everyone know that if Patterson can throw a slider low and away with two strikes, he'll be able to get the next hitter out.

Good point but thats what he said. Also sounds likes they are just interested in him no offers yet.

I guess the ESPN job didn't work out.

I'd guess Stoney is more likely to get recognition as a Nats color guy than as ESPN's D-crew color guy.

I'm sure his wife would be surprised to hear that.

He works for the Score (but he really doesn't have to be in chicago to do what he does)

Only if the Nats share all the signs with him like the Cubs did.

I'm pretty sure she knows. He spent the last 6+ months living in Chicago so if she hasn't caught on by now then I don't think Steve needs to worry about what she is or isn't surprised about.
