Giants ran there mouth this week and just got it handed it to them.

Awesome.

Burress is one player ...

He plays for the Giants, no?

Face it, he was trash talking and just got punked. He ran his mouth without knowing the first thing about Tillman, and Till beat him.

He should have studied the Bears/Vikings game tapes when Till was covering Moss. Unless you've got elite speed, Till can cover you. Not too many 6'2" corners out there.

Burress was doing fine on Tillman, but its not like he can catch passes when Manning is getting rushed heavily/throwing 100 feet above his head. It's funny how a little trash talk gets blown up so much when you lose ... and it's not like Burress didn't play well.

it's not like he played great. he caught a few balls, but never got deep and never broke off a big yac.

Fair enough. It's not like Manning would have been able to put the ball where it needed to be anyway.

Manning or Grossman...if you had your choice...

I think running on the sideline with your kid (adorable, by the way) is a good sign he just had some cramps and went in for fluids.

Bottom line:

NY dissrespected the hell out of the Bears. Along with the

Eastern Seaboard Programming Network.

The Bears kicked them in the mouth tonight, and it was great.

also Grosman >>>>>>> Eli.

Wow, no they didn't. The Giants did not disrespect the damn Bears! What are you basing this on, one players trash talk?

Grossman in this game >>>>> Eli in this game, sure.

I'm with you...disrespecting is Roy Williams guaranteeing a victory. Not saying the Bears are beatable.

Probably Manning , I haven't seen enough of Grossman. Manning has shown flashes, if he can fix his mechanics.

Did this become like the 7th longest thread in the history of the board?

There were at least 5 game threads longer than this, and I'm pretty sure there was a Juan Pierre thread longer, and the Aramis thread in Transactions now is longer. It's long, but it's not by any stretch near the top.

Where's the guy that said something along the lines of "Eli isn't that great but Rex is just awful," earlier in this thread? Edited by David

BEARS WIN!!!!

Best win of the year!

Yep. Even better than Seattle.

Rex flushed out some demons. His best game of his

career, given the circumstances.

There were some CRAZY long Maddux and Nomar threads.

Longest non-Cub thread.
