He's the head baseball coach at his alma mater last I heard.

I think he's pretty content to coach the team (SD State) and at the school that named their stadium after him.

There's no way that Gwynn would leave his dream job, but boy, I'd love to have him as a hitting coach. Anyone know how his hitters perform at SD State?

If his offseason work with Jacques Jones is any indication of his teaching skills I would pass. J/K I would be more than happy to get Gwyn as a hitting coach.
