THAT WAS THE STUPIDEST PLAY-CALLING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.

Ugh.

Frankly, I want to go to the Rose Bowl and just beat up UCLA's OC. They ran a PA bootleg on 3rd and goal from the 1 and then went for it on 4th down and did a toss to the short end of the field. All this after driving up the heart for most of the drive. Awful.

Garrett Wolfe 40, Ball State 28.

Wolfe had 353 rushing yards on 31 carries.

We gave up 610 yards of offense all told.

The only reason we were even that close is Nate Davis, who after all the hubbub, was outstanding. 27-38, 298 yards, 4 TD and no picks.

If Brady Hoke is a defensive coach (used to be D-coordinator for Michigan), then why the hell does our defense suck so bad every year?

If the man is not invited to New York, it will be a travesty. Wolfe is already over 1000 yards this year, and there's nothing stopping him from getting 2000 yards on the season. He is having one heck of a year. That said, I'm surprised to see Horvath have such a good game. Like you said, based from what I saw, the game shouldn't have even been that close.

SIU beat Indiana St. 55-3. Solid win for the Dawgs. Next up, Western Illinois for homecoming. Let's go 5-0 :)

WOW. That is unreal. He has over 1100 yards in 5 games, with 7 games to go.

RIP KSU FOOTBALL 9/30/06

Nah. KSU just isn't good this year, which was reflected in them being an underdog in a game at Baylor. Everyone knew KSU was pretty much at rock bottom this year - you have to start there before you make your way back up.

Things are shaping up for a big showdown for the Michigan/OSU game. OSU has gone through the heart of their schedule with only MSU truly remaining. Michigan has the heart of their schedule with MSU/@PSU/Iowa in the next 3 weeks. IF...Michigan can make it through this (wont be easy) it will potentially be 1 Vs 2 matchup or at least determine who is going to play for the BCS championship in that final game. Michigan better not screw this up.

MSU....cmon was the loss to ND that devastating that you lost to Illini? You know whats funny is i wouldnt be compelety suprised if they ended up beating Michigan this week and then beating OSU later in East Lansing. MSU really gets up for UM (they are going to have a lot to prove after losing to Ilinni too), i hope i see the MSU we all make fun of next week.

We have the same players as last year when the team scored points. I totally don't understand. Our new offensive coordinator sucks, and I totally already miss the qb running game and Bill Snyder's offense. Our defense is fine, and wouldn't have given up a point last night if not for special teams and turnovers. I hate the WC offense!

Snyder learned from Hayden Fry -- leave the cupboard bare. Iowa started 1-15 under Ferentz before finally starting to resemble a team.

If Wolfe can run for 150-200 yards against Iowa's defense in a couple of weeks, there's no doubt in my mind he has to at least be invited to New York.

I agree especially considering he already tore up Ohio State. It would be one thing if he never played a game this year against even a decent major conference team. But he's already ran through arguably the best team in the nation and has a chance to do it again against a top 3 Big 10 team.

Heck of a game up there in Syracuse

Yes it was! True freshman Delone Carter (Mr. Ohio) scores 4 TD's on a salute to Joe Morris Day! The Orange were outplayed but still came out with the win, next up Pitt.
