Not as many as last week, but this needs to continue

The Lions looked kind of scary against the Seahawks, but I'm still confident that the Bears should have this one rather easy (especially at home).

UM you have to get the pic of Mike Brown laying out Pollard from last year.

I'm going to look for it.

best I could find

they're never on here either, but i've always got a comfortable seat at the local watering hole for the game....and since there is a pretty large contingent of bears fans there, they always make it the feature game :D

That works too.

I just have Sunday Ticket and watch them at home. The way I am watching Bear games, they'd probably throw me out of most bars 8)

Lions D looked very good against Seattle.

Alexander couldn't run and neither could we, so needless to say the Bears will need to overcome that and establish the run game.

On the other side of the ball: the Lions offense looked really mediocre for the most part.

Could be a defensive struggle? Lions are always tougher @ home, so hopefully that holds up and they aren't quite as good in Chicago.

Ok...I have a confession to make. I am not very proud of this because I'm not really sure how the rest of the league is but here goes...

I really like the team that calls the games on the Bears radio, Jeff Joniak (PBP) and Tom Thayer (COLOR). I like the play-by-play (I like his passion, his corny turns of phrase, his enthusiasm for the Bears) I like the color man (former player seems to know his stuff, gives me a clue what to listen for and what it is like to play).

There, I've said it.

Whew!! That feels good to get out there.

I like Joniak too. They had his call of Hester's TD on ESPN and I nearly got chills.

Yeah, heard that on the post game. Thayer is sweet. He talks football, not a bunch of cliches or stupid stuff like a lot of guys on TV.

What was the name of that idiot that was catching punts last year? Bobby something. Huge upgrade.

Bobby Wade.

Bobble Wade had a good game for the Titans yesterday: 5 rec/76 yards.

Didn't know he was even playing...

Yeah, Titans picked him up. Good for Bobby. Too bad it took getting fired for him to learn it's important to, you know, actually hold on to the ball occasionally.

That's just it. I get more excited than I otherwise might because of their technique. I'm glad that they seem to know what they are talking about and keep itabout football but they really make it fun to listen.

Jeff is able to paint the excitement and power and energy of the game with his voice even more than his words. It's kinetic not intellectual.

Anyway, I like them.

I love them too. They are wonderful to listen to when you are a raging homer like I am. I usually mute the TV and listen to the radio team.

I would too but i cant stand the 3 or so second delay. 'Grossman passes to the end zone.....touchdown!' While im seeing Grossman still holding the ball.
