Genesis only produced a mountain of formulaic pop crap in their last few albums. Before that, they produced a mountain range of extremely non-formulaic "progressive" rock.

 

Whether you liked it or not is a different story. But there's no way that "Lamb Lied Down on Broadway" is a formulaic, pop album.

I agree w/ Derwood here. Radiohead losing in the 1st round was a tragedy. I lost my faith in the members of this board that day.
