You just can't make up names like that up so it has to be true.

Assuming Arizona took on a significant share of Livan's salary for next year, the Nats just cleared some more dollars to pay Soriano.

I'm actually kinda surprised he cleared waivers.

He's owed $7M guaranteed in 2007 plus he's breaking down even more - it would have been a huge risk for a team to claim him, IMHO.

Which is why I'm shocked the Cubs didn't, lol, he'd fit right in. Dr. Andrews could go ahead and clear the surgery time for the offseason.

This is the best pitcher in Japan and he wants to pitch in the US,Check out the video of him and the open letter from from the creator at http://www.bleedcubbieblue.com/ sent to Hendry... If Jimbo could actually go and get this guy for about 30 or 40 million he would definetley be a number 1 or 2 starter, his pitches are filthy, and throws something called a " gyroball" which is a nasty pitch and would be the newest pitch in baseball since the split finger fastball...He was the MVP of the WBC going 3-0 with a 0.85 ERA.... We gotta get Jimbo to notice and go after this guy somehow..The yankees, Angels and Mariners are said the be going after him too.. Jimbo go get him!!!

So they start the season with Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez and will finish the year with his brother Livan.

But, this one won't cause the sibling rivalry the Angels dropping Jeff for Jered Weaver did/should.

Well 1st off, they're half brothers. 2nd, they were not traded for each other, nor was one DFA'd to make room for the other

Half brothers or not they are still brothers.

Where did I say the Hernandez half brothers were traded for each other?

My point was simply that a brother(or half brother) tandem essentially fills a pitching roster spot of the other brother(half brother if you will) on the team.

Don't you have some White Sox fans to shout at you petulant little hate monger?

That was unneeded. I fight with fans on a regular basis.
