Nice job on the hit and run by Pagan.

 

The hit and run is the stupidest play in all of baseball.

Why do you say that?

The hit and run is the stupidest play in all of baseball.

 

I hate the hit and run, too, but if the manager calls for it, it would be nice for the guy at the plate to swing at the ball.

FWIW, Tony LaRussa loves the hit and run. Much of his spring training drills focus on it.

Tony LaRussa often mistakes activity for achievement.
