I'll be at the Chiefs game tonight, I'll be bringing my camera so I'll take some pic/video requests. I'm definately looking forward to checking out Yusuf and hopefully Reed as he didn't play the other game I went to and Yusuf wasn't called up yet.

Mark played first last night to give Norwood a night off, so you should get to see him behind the plate. Yusef hit a homer in Thursday night's game too, and it shouldn't be too hard to get a seat up at the stadium in Beloit. Have a great time!

as they will be in Beloit tonight, I would guess that Matt Weber (originally from Rockford) will have as many fans in the stands as the entire Beloit team will. Well, it's Friday night, so maybe not, but I bet there will be a lot of folks there rooting for the Chiefs.

Nothing to exciting to report from the Chiefs game

* what happened to Weber?

* Norwood's HR was pretty sweet, it was a towering shot that was so high I was sure it was going to be a fly out, but it just made it over the glove of the left fielder who tried to make a leaping catch to rob it.

* Beloit's 3rd baseman made on of the slickest plays I've seen in person on, I think Johnston', hit, he snagged the ball after a real bad hop but by the time he recovered he didn't even attempt a throw.

* Estrada missed getting a broken bat to the face by a couple of inches

* the last Peoria reliever who went 2.0IP looked pretty solid, had a similar arm motion to Wuertz

* Yusuf looked bad on the Beloit pitcher's curveball (the whole team did) bu his double was smacked off the wall in dead center.

Nice to see that Colvin is starting to turn it on a little bit, he seems to be making more contact and less K's over the last few games. One thing that I have liked is that going through the logs, it seems like most of his outs are made the to left side of the field meaning he's trying to shoot pitches the other way. Once he settles in I think he'll do pretty good.
