If I were managing, I would pinch hit for Marshall so he could get a win or no decision. He has pitched very well in a stressful game. That would give him confidence and also it would show confidence in the bull pen.

Good to see him deal a doozy again. 8)

 

Our bullpen is junk. Leave Marshall in. Eyre & Howry aren't going to do any better, believe me.

Just checking in. Rangers lead the Blue Jays, 6-3.

 

I was watching them last night and Hairston made a nice catch in left field. Tom Grieve the Ranger announcer called Hairston one top three defensive outfielders in the American League.

I was watching them last night and Hairston made a nice catch in left field. Tom Grieve the Ranger announcer called Hairston one top three defensive outfielders in the American League.

We've only got 12 pitchers on the roster. If we had 13, maybe we could afford to bring in someone from the pen.
