We've given JP a lot of grief the first three months of the season, but I still hope he breaks out of it soon. He seems like a good guy and a hard working player.

Why is it that we can never seem to come up with a clutch hit?

 

Probably because it's rare for them to come up with any sort of hit. And the few guys who do get hits are on base for those "clutch" situations, so the guys who need to come up with those hits typically are the ones that are less likely to get any sort of hit anyway.
