Wow. One away with runners at 2nd and 3rd for Omaha. Fly ball to Pie in center, who then throws out the runner tagging from 2nd to 3rd BEFORE the runner from 3rd crosses the plate.

 

I was sitting there just a few rows up from 3rd base.....that was a badass play. I thought the runner had crossed home plate before the runner got tagged at 3rd, but oh well, I still liked the call. :lol:

Mike Fontenot is putting together a nice season in Iowa. .308/.396/.452 in 200+ ABs, thus far. That OBP would be nice at 2B in Chicago between the Walker and Patterson eras and then on the bench.
