Sullivan's write-up in he Trib this morning is pretty funny. Someting o the effect of: "Rusch was placed on teh 15-da DL with back spasms even though there has been no mention of this issue before."

And 29 major league managers breathe a sigh of relief that Rusch was not DFA'd for fear that their GM would be as stupid as Hendry to take a chance on Rusch.

 

But 15 NL managers are disappointed because their teams won't have a chance to face Rusch for a while.
