No, it's tonight (Thursday) at 6:05 CDT. The game wiill be in the top of the third with the Jaxx down 1-0. The completion of the suspended game will be nine innings long (or more if extra innings are needed). Thirty minutes after that game ends, the regularly scheduled game will take place. That game will be seven innings long.

The Jaxx cannot afford another loss since the magic number is down to three. If the two teams tie for first at the end of the half, the division title will be determined when the two teams meet up for the first time in the second half schedule. That would be on July 4th at Pringles Park in front of a sell-out crowd (it will be a sell-out because it's the only place in Jackson that will be shooting off fireworks).

Daytona wins it 2-0 in 10. Sotolongo, Weber and Mendez combined to limit Brevard County to 2 hits. The Daytona runs scored in the 10th on RBI singles by Culpepper and Fox. Edited by CaliforniaRaisin

Rich Hill will dominate as usual...Man I don't get him. How could he be so dominate in AAA and so pitiful in the Bigs?

You said dominate when you should have said dominant

I am thinking about going to the Chiefs/Cougars game tonight. Could anyone enlighten me as to what kind of stuff Atkins has? I believe Williamson is slated to pitch in relief for the Chiefs as well.

Yeah, Williamson is supposed to pitch in relief today.

Atkins throws a FB around 90-92, a change and a curve. The big thing with Atkins is his ability to change speeds and have great location on all of his pitches. Please give us a scouting report if you do go (and pics, if you can).

Nate just mentioned that Scott Williamson will be pitching an inning in relief tonight - he's not sure when, but sounds like a great thing for the Chiefs tonight.

Hill struck out the 1st two batters he faced, but then allowed 3 hits in a row before Restovich threw out a baserunner trying to go to 3rd. 1-0 New Orleans after 1.

Peoria leads Kane County after 2.

Jaxx still trail 1-0 in the resumed suspended game after 5.

Jaxx scored 4 off of Huntsville and lead it 4-1! The box is a bit sketchy because of the game being suspended earlier, but it appears Negron drove in 3 on a bases loaded double for the big strike against Huntsville.

Yep, bases clearing double for Negron. I was coming back through Jackson and heard the play. I believe he was in an 0-2 hole with 2 outs and was able to get the big hit.
