How can you guys stand to watch this crap. I usually keep the game on PIP just in case Barrett decides to hit someone again, while I watch something else

I'm using it to have something to complain about, plus I'm trying to write a paper so it's just background.

Every *(*&(*&(* AB Pierre is down 0-2. I'm so sick of this &*^*.

I'm sick of Pierre too, but Every single leadoff hitter in the league would have been down 0-2 there. Why? Because the pitcher just grounded out, and it's pretty much a rule to take the first two pitches so that he can get settled, get water, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, that was a 5 pitch inning for Maddux !!

that just means Oswalt will respond with a 4 pitch inning.

If Rusch was pitching hamburgers, hed be throwing no hitters

A real major league team would use this chance to again get Angel Guzman in the rotation to judge if he can man a spot next year in the rotation. Finding out how many pitchers we need to pursue this off season. The Cubs, however, have decided to get Manboobs another start.

Here is the inning to chase Oswalt out of the game facing the heart of the order. He has 75 pitches, he has run the bases and he is coming off the DL!

I don't understand why Prior may only need one more minor league start instead of 2-3. During a normal spring training, don't starters get 5-6 starts? I'm just sick of seeing one or two appearances then back to the DL.

How exactly would another minor league start help him? It's not as if his minor league starts are any less stressful than a major league start would be.

hopefully Walker pinch hits and Neifi is double switched back to the bench where he belongs.

Ha I see this is your first Cubs game with Dusty Baker as the manager. One of the main things to remember is you never take Neifi out, he saved us.

When Dusty was the Giants manager, I think he did with Marvin Bernard what he is now doing with Neifi. And that used to drive Giants' fans crazy. They wanted Bernard on the bench and Dusty insisted on playing him.

Yes while blocking Pedro Feliz. Remeber when Ramirez used to hit homers? Me neither.
