ESPN TV/AM1000 Reporting Wood on the DL; Guzman up

Recommended Posts

I'd tell everyone who saw this coming to raise their hand; but the updraft would cause the worlds rotation to be thrown off.

I got a funny Monty Python image in my head when you said that. Of a globe with alot of hands going up, and then screams and hollers as the globe went flying.

If KW is back in Chicago in 2007, he should NOT be a part of the rotation plans. The Cubs management needs to stop thinking about Wood as a starter, and more of a reliever. This "pitcher" cannot stay healthy, or pitch deep into the game. I don't care about his ego, he better be a reliever next yr.

The problem is management should have had those plans for this year but they keep counting on injury prone players to save us.

So is Guzman going to be in the rotation or is he the new long man in the bullpen?

From what Len said it looks like Marmol to the rotation, but I wont be surprised to see Rusch benched yet again so it's possible both to the rotation.

Tonight Len said that Rusch is still scheduled to start on Wednesday against Houston, FWIW.
