well, tim just lost pujols and wood for tomorrow and bonds hasn't been playing. I think I will get to 300 so he will need a huge last day and a half to catch me.

I don't know what the hell has happened, but I get rid of a lot of my bats (Andruw, Floyd, and Renteria) and I start to score. Has to be a fluke. I guess it helps when Batista has a 30+ point week.

Great effort by my team will go for naught. Smoltz had 20-point stuff, but gave up 4 runs and took the loss. O'Connor had good stuff, but walked a bunch of people and gave up 3 ERs in the 6th after dominating thru 4-5. I needed at least 1 20-pt start. It may have still not mattered as Rodrigo [expletive] Lopez is throwing a gem against the team formerly known as the Yankees.

I'm 4-24 on the day with 4 solo home runs.

 

What an awful week...I lose starts from Oswalt & Wood at the last minute. Pujols goes down. Sheff goes back on the DL. Bonds only started one game. Floyd didn't start today after I picked him up as someone who would play more regularly than Bonds.

 

funny thing is that the bullpens are right around the margin right now. This is the first week my pen hasn't scored at least decently for me.
