Lack of posts in this thread = most NSBBers are bandWGNers and not true fans.

 

Or, most of us can't get inspired to post when the team is this pathetic. It doesn't mean we've stopped watching the games (or reading posts).

Apparently the Cubs only have one strikeout today.

 

GO CUBS!!!

 

CUBS have been striking out less all season.

 

CUBS are on a pace to strike out 851 times this year..... compared to 920 last year

CUBS are 0-24 when they trail after 8 innings.

LOL. Says a lot about the Cubs' clutch hitting.

 

Andy MacPhail blames their struggles on clutch hitting.

 

As he pointed out recently, they're last in the league.

 

Of course, he didn't mention that their overall OBP and SLG is last in the league, too, and that their team OBP with runners in scoring position is actually slightly higher than their overall OBP.
