They may have the most capacity in 28 years as well.

The weekend games will continue to be high attendance because most of those seats were sold at the beginning of the season. The money has been paid and people who have to plan trips to attend games have planned them.

The weekday/night games will be ones that will first have attendance impacted by losing.

Exactly, attendance is based off of ticket sales, not turnstiles. You won't see the hit in the attendance until later in the year or less desirable games, and for the most part, until next year.

My guess is the hit won't be too big and there will still be 30+ most everyday

CUBS are 15-8 when they outhit the opponents.

Go CUBS !!

What's their record when they out-walk their opponent?

My guess is 0-0.

Have the CUBS ever out-walked their opponent ??

Don't mind me being a smart ass..... I'm not having a good day.

CUBS are 8-3 when they draw more walks than they allow

CUBS are 4-2 when the walks are equal for both teams

CUBS are 6-25 when they allow more walks than they draw.

Go CUBS !!

Not at all Fred -- my 0-0 guess was in the same vain.

I'm actually stunned that they have out-walked their opponent as much as 11 times this season. Very un-Cub-like.

Hmmmm...... 12-5 when they walk as much or more than the other guys.... Yep! That's it -- the only problem is just their hitting with RISP Andy and Jim!

I hate that the team I root for is in the hands of stupid people.

My smart ass-self : Try to find stats on how the Cubs do against the opposition by outhitting with RISP

I'm sure its not the easiest stat to compile.

3 more singles and the cubs could have pushed another run across the plate.

lol @ the cubs scoring 4 runs in an inning. that would mean a couple extra base hits in one inning. about the only type of hit the cubs can produce is a single.

17 Premium pages. This is depressing.

Were there boo-birds today? (I worked all day)

This thread was only 17 pages on premium? That's even more pathetic than the non-premium game thread. What does it cut out?

Premium pages are 20 posts long, non-premium is 15. That's the only difference.
