Per the Score

Hmmm, wonder which out of those two will end up getting more playing time?

Stupid.

Good to see Jim was garbage picking again, he will go well with the bookends known as Neifi and Rusch. Well at least we can give him a 2 year extension after he has a decent season, and saves us from last place!

BCB

Jim buys into the "One man's garbage, is another man's treasure" theory.

"What you put in your toilet, I put on my mantle".

Thank goodness! But will we be able to survive with only 4 2Bs on the roster? Should we have demoted someone other than Theriot, or can Bynum be our emergency 5th 2B?

I think 2B is the position Bynum has played the most, actually.

I like how they mention his limited AAA success but don't mention his .249 AVG in Zoo York or Cincy dropping his pathetic butt. Ugh. What else can even be said about this orginization right now? Hey, at least it's not Enrique Wilson.

Wheres E-Patt or Coats?

Staying as far away from the idiots who coach this team as possible, thank Kent.

Evidently, Mark Prior is on the 60-day DL, which allowed a spot on the 40-man roster to be open for Womack.

When was Prior transferred to the 60-day DL?

What does this do to when he can return, if anything?

He's not on the 60 day DL, he's dead.

It's true!

If you play the Go Cubs, go! song backwards at 33 1/3 it says

"Mrak is dead, Mark is dead. Turn me on dead man, turn me on."

Recognizing the difference between "eating" a contract and releasing a player whose salary is sunk already is a critical skill for any GM. It should be a question on the GMAT (General Manager Aptitude Test), right after the question about when employing Tony Womack would be a good idea. (The correct answer is D, "Never.")

I guess Jim Hendry would fail the GMAT.
