Towards the right side in the middle of the main page, you will find a poll about Dusty Baker.

Click Here if you're too blind to find it.

If you want to keep voting, delete your cookies. So far, 44.4% think he should get the red tag. 17.9% thinks he deserves an extension. The other two are more reasonable, I guess. Anyhow, cast your vote(s). Maybe they'll listen?

Sorry if it's been posted already.

So basically, 18% of the people who took the poll think Dusty should be around next year and 82% don't. That's saying something.

Yeah, 18% of Cubs fans have no idea what a manager's job is.

Well the 29.6% who say he should finish the year havent really chosen a side... They still want to give him a chance. Then go on from there.

There could be White Sox fans voting that affect the poll. They probably want Dusty to stick around - whether that's for the year or for the next couple year - because they know it will kill the team.

Well, it's the same site whose previous polls have declared Paul Sullivan a good beat writer.

While the Cubs enter the Washington series having lost 14 of 16 games, the right move to make is to seek a multiyear commitment from Baker. You've got to find out how passionate he is about digging out from under the rubble that has fallen around him.

Phil Rogers is probably most of the voters.

I could not comprehend how ridiculous that column was. What kind of reasoning is that? I know he's a BS artist and just writes stuff for the reaction, but part of me thinks he actually believes some of this garbage.

The only reason you should resign Dusty is if you think he's the right man to bring the Cubs to the World Series. Who cares how passionate he is about digging out from the rubble. Odds are he'll except the money, for the money's sake. That won't tell you a thing about his passion.
