do they use the same clips for the intro to games on WGN for every game?

 

 

i saw myself in the left field bleachers on todays intro

 

kinda funny considering i root against the cubs these days

 

i like the sig.

thanks, when i first used it as my avatar, i sort of expected a comment outta you, that was months ago though...ive actually been wondering where you've been, this board has been leaning more and more to the right during your absence, gotta have the resident leftist around to balance out the political discussions

Decent inning from Hill. Giles is just a damn good hitter.

 

Yea his OPS isn't so great, and his slugging has tailed off remarkably this year. He still is an OBP machine, but the sudden major drop off in SLG% makes me think he might have been on something.

Yeah, Cedeno's last walk was on Wed 26 April against Florida, 17 games ago.

23 of their first 37 have been at home, where no left handers do any good slugging wise. Also, of their 14 road games, 9 were in the 1st/2nd week of the season.

 

 

Just because someone is struggling to hit homers doesn't automatically mean they were on something.
