I don't know if this is a true story, but it is one I've heard Tommy Lasorda tell a number of times.

 

Tommy Lasorda once had Sandy Kofax long after he retired, ptich batting practice either during the WS when the Dodgers were facing a lefty.

 

After about two guys Lasorda had to remove him becuase no one could touch him.
