Think about it, they are giving up at least one run and not batting in any, TYhe rest of the team is tired, swinging at every pitch they see, running down the first base line and then going back to the bench. \

This team sucks, the manager sucks, the general manager sucks, ushers suck, the beer sucks, ETC, ETC

Yep; Maddux had his worst game pitching so far this year, but he was responsible for preventing another shutout.

The walk. It's how the Cubs last scored. It's also how the Cubs lost last night's game. It's amazing how a team can completely ignore the value of a walk for so long.

This is going to sound harsh, but I think he's right. I recently went to a Tigers/Angels game and the beer was a good bit colder then anything I've had at Wrigley in a year or two.

 

The only thing is, in Detroit, you have to go get your own beer - there are no roaming beer guys.

Pain...Nice name...its sort of like watching the Cubs right now....but I love that movie.
