I'm getting tired of Zambrano's act. I keep hearing how young he is and how he has calmed down this year, but it still bothers me when he flips his mitt, smirks after a HR, and generally acts like everybody on the team has let him down. Many people picked him for the Cy Young this year, but I'm starting to wonder if he will ever have the maturity to win it. It's time to grow up and start taking care of business.

Is this stemming from yesterday? He got smoked and I didn't see the attitude you're talking about. He looked upset with himself a few time for sure. He basically stated after the game that he pitched poorly and that was it (alluding to some work needed on his mechanics). I don't see how that's acting like everybody on the team has let him down.

Frankly I am getting tired of his high pitch count, multiple walks and his 0-2 record in April. Give me the fire-throwing, head hunting animated Z any day of the week if that means wins. Who cares how he acts as long as he puts up W's.... Getting Tired? Yes, of him not winning!

Pretty much nothing Zambrano has done this year has been good. Honestly, he needs to smarten up and stop putting so much break on all of his pitches until he can control them.

He does seem to be "overthrowing" on every pitch.

i don't get all this talk about wanting the 'old zambrano' back. what's the difference between this zambrano and the 'old zambrano'? new zambrano busts bats over his knees, throws his arms up in the air when a teammate screws up, and acts like just as much of an ass as old zambrano. only difference i can see is that 'new' zambrano sucks at pitching.

The old Zambrano also broke a bat over his knee, but yeah, you're right.

I didn't get to see the game yesterday, but in his past starts this year it seems like he's throwing a lot more offspeed pitches instead of his fastball. There were times last year where he threw nothing but his sinker and he was dominate.
