Jason Lane's game-winner traveled approximately forty feet.

Seriously, though, it was estimated at about 325.

That's what fans of teams that play in major league parks call "fly out to left."

There was also a force-out at first that was ruled an error because the ball was jarred from Fielder's glove after he touched the bag. I'm not going to talk about that one any further. It makes me angry. We Brewer fans have seen some really bad calls lately (see: Strike Zone, Tom Glavine, 4/14/06)

Thanks!

Watch out for fireworks in the game tonight: the Brewers just got three-hit by a rookie making his starting debut (even though they were all HRs), and tonight they're facing one of the best pitchers in the league.

I predict eight runs on ten hits, and at least three HRs.

Well, I was right about fireworks, touching up Oswalt, and the three HRs...

It's just unfortunate that the Astros hit too many pop flies to shallow left.

By shallow left I mean the short porch.

Yeah, there was a time when Taveras was up and he barely got a piece of the ball and hit it off the wall. Any other park that would have been an out and that turned out to be a crucial run in the game. I pity any team that has to play at MMP, might as well play at Lamade stadium where the LLWS is played.

Yeah, the park is dumb, but there is no advantage for the Astros. Both teams can use the advantage, and the Brewers haven't so far, they are hitting 400 ft homers instead. But yeah, if these games were in Miller Park I think the results would have been different.

The Astros keep losing good players and getting better. Nextyear they should cut Oswalt and Berkman and then win every game.

So far they've played the Marlins, Nationals, Giants, D-Backs, and Brewers. I wouldn't put too much stock in their quick start.

I know, but dear lord they should be the 4th best team in our division. I would be willing to bet they get 2nd. I hope I am wrong though.

LOL, Brewers fans. I didn't even know there was such a thing.

How many times have the Astros been to the playoffs in the last decade. You boys need some skins on the wall before you address a real baseball team.
