Anyone know if standing room tickets are 10$ again this year? It isn't on the Cubs webpage...

They were the only ticket prices to go down from 2004 to 2005. Best way to catch a game, really.

I got SR tickets to a game in August of 04 and it was abominable, I could barely see anything.

For some reason I thought SRO tickets weren't available this year.

What? Why would they do that?

IrishOshea you are cheap if you think that's the best way to catch a game, but whatever gets you into Wrigley is good way to go.

I'm a 19 year old college student going to a Big Ten university out-of-state. By hopping the el, using the early bird discount, and getting 10 dollar tickets, I can get to cubs games for under 25 dollars. That means I can go to more than 1 game a week.

If the knothole is open, I dont see there being standing room...

What?

SRO goes on sale day-of-game, no?

It's a great way to see a game cheaply, and a great view will be yours if you know the park.

Yeah..

Standing room has nothing to do with the knothole in the outfield. It is located behind terrace reserved in the lower deck. Goes all the way around the park (obviously not the bleachers).

Standing room goes on sale if the game has no/limited view seats only. Again, if you know the park well you can have a great view. I love it. I'm young enough to stand for the whole game, I like meeting and talking with security/ushers and venders in between innings. It's a real blast, if you do it right.

Yeah, for it to be worth it, you have to get there early, and know which spots are best. Otherwise you're probably just better off going to one of the bars across the street to see the game on the big screens.
