If Bonds were available for cheap, and he was healthy I would take him on my team in a hearbeat. You are talking about one of the Top 5 or 10 greatest players of alltime.

Ok, better example. The Cubs are in first place by one game at the trade deadline. Matt Murton is out for the season. Barry Bonds is available to the Cubs at a cheap price. He's healthy and having another one of his amazing seasons. Bonds has admitted to steroid use, but still hasn't failed a test, and claims he is not on anything now. Would you want him and why or why not?

I don't want Bonds on this team. Period. Good pitching is what will get these guys over the hump. Bonds' bat doesn't guarantee success. Also, if he admitted to doing steroids his presence would be more of a distraction than ever.
