Green grounded an IF single to the pitcher

Hi everyone, sorry to be late to the tourney...err cubs game thread :)

 

Santo is saying that he thinks Williamson's elbow popped but thats just specualtion.

Ok, I'll say it: I'm worried about Pierre! If he can't hit .300 he's going to be a bust (because he doesn't walk). Fortunately, these ABs don't count.

 

At least he's not signed to a long term deal, so if he stinks we can let him go at the end of the season, and there is always Pie.

He's probably going to start out slow as he adjusts to Wrigley's tall grass.

It sucks that we gave up decent talent for a rental, but at least there's Pie. It's not all bad if Pierre tanks.

Hopefully, he finds his groove before too long. I'm rooting for him because he's ours now.
