Pirate's C. Wilson for Matt Clement??

A guy on the radio here said he heard a rumor. He's fairly new to the beat, so I have no clue as to his reliability.

 

If the guy he replaced said it, I'd say it was being talked about.

 

Anyone heard any whispers?

I like the trade for the Pirates if it happens. Clement is overpaid, but is from the area and knows the NL Central. I hate the thought of the Cubs against Clement though. The Cubs hitters are aggressive and that plays right into Clement's strengths. They would undoubtedly face each other about 3-4 times this season.

But on the upside, we might also be treated to the Matt Clement face.

 

I realize this is a Bill Simmons rip-off, but there isn't a more accurate phrase to describe the look on Clement's face after he has just walked two on balls that dove low over the outside corner, then gives up a three-run homer.

 

That face always annoyed me....
