I prefer my Hooters girls to be in the traditional shorts and tank top. What's with jeans and a sweat shirt?!?!?! :x

You can probably blame the weather for that. It was a cool day by Phoenix-area standards (low 60s with a pretty good breeze). Most people were actually wearing long sleeves or jackets.

They probably do not put the ending years on the banners until the player is retired, since the possibility exists they could return if they are still active. I know that a Sosa return would be about as likely as the Cubs winning the series, but I would expect it to be updated this year now that he is officially retired.

That's a possibility. I can think of a certain pitcher on the current team who left the Cubs and then returned (and it's happened several times in the past as well, e.g. Jenkins, Holtzman, etc.). Not likely with Sosa, but theoretically possible.
