nope, those don't matter - the tiebreaker only applies to the teams involved in the tie.

I know the US game is gonna be on but still, not having this on but having college basketball :pukel: on instead is ludicrious. Its like preempting the Olympics for Skating with Celebs.

Conference Tourneys (well, you're out on the West coast where basketball isn't really huge like it is in the Midwest) are pretty big spectacles for TV.

I don't understand why TPTB feel that TV time would be harder to come by around the first of November. Basketball has things much more crowded at this time of year.

 

I picked up Deportes just for the WBC. It's been worthwhile, as they've aired many games live that were relegated to tape delay on the U.S. channels ... I think I'll get it again in the offseason for some winter ball.
