You're probably right. It's a unique situation because of the 2 teams in 1 city thing. I still think that once you take out the hard core Cub fan, most people in the city like him. My Mom is a good example. She loves her Cubbies but still likes Ozzie because he brought a champion to the city. My Dad is a hard core Cub fan (you'd like him) and he can't stand Ozzie.

 

How the heck did you become a Cards fan?

 

The 69 Cubs broke my Dad's heart, and when he stayed in Southern IL after school he decided to raise his children as Cardinal fans to spare them the same fate. I thank him everyday ;)
