I don't have the best knowledge of what other PCL teams will have to offer in 2006, so I'm hoping some others can help me decide which I-Cubs games I should go to and who the players to look for are. Here are the teams coming to Des Moines this season. You send me to the right game, and I'll drink a tall boy in your honor!

Albuquerque

Nashville

Round Rock

Memphis

Colorado Springs

Salt Lake

Omaha

New Orleans

Oklahoma

Tacoma

That schedule pi$$es me off. Colorado Springs is going to Iowa, but they don't get to go the other way. I'd love to catch the I-Cubs here in Colorado.

I'd say to go to every game possible. In addition, I'd recommend scheduling trips to West Tennessee and Peoria.

Any game against a Cards affiliate (Memphis) is a fun place to be.

I agree with DJAXX....go to as many as you can. I went on a whim, which can be a very difficult thing to ride, a few seasons ago and got to watch Dempster take a nono into the 6th inning here. I made a point to see BJ Upton and was more impressed with Cantu when the Rays kids were here so any game could have it's little gems.

I always intend to go to 1 game each series, but I usually only get to 2 or 3 every season. I figured if I could get some insight into the more exciting players coming to town, I'd press harder to make it to those games.

On a side note, there's only 1 other place I'd pay to watch baseball without giving any thought to it, and that's Wrigley. Sec Taylor/Principal Park is a fantastic place to watch baseball. If any of you are on the fence as to whether or not to make a trip to Des Moines, I highly recommend it.

nashville used to have a lot of young players to watch when weeks, fielder and hart were still in town...not sure what the roster will look like this year though.

I just go to Thursday homes game here in Tucson ($1 beer night). The Iowa cubs are here for one of those this year.

we have that special here in nashville too, Thirsty Thursdays!!!!

Ditto in Mobile..I'm fortunate enough to have my company provide tickets to all of the BayBears games that we want to attend. There reallly aren't a tremendous amount of baseball fans where I work, so I'm able to take advantage of this on any given home game.

Looks like the I-Cubs are finally coming back to Cali. They go to Fresno and then Sacramento in May, I'd consider driving up to the Central Valley if Angel Guzman and Felix Pie are playing for Iowa.
