What game are you trying for, Tree?

 

ideally, id like to get tickets to 2 games in a weekend series during the summer. i dont care who they play. i think im currently trying for detroit.

 

Me too. If you get in and aren't using the maximum tickets, I would reward you monetarily for the extra tickets.

I've noticed from last year and this year that there seem to be several stages of ticket buying:

 

1) Anticipation

2) Glee/Hope <-- Glee if you've got tickets, hope if you don't

3) Glee/Frustration

4) Glee/Hopelessness <-- at this point you can go back up to stage 2 if you hear of someone else getting tickets later in the day

5) Glee/Anger at the system, Jealousy toward those who have tickets

6) Glee/Resignation

 

I'm still at stage 2. For the moment.

I don't know if it qualifies, but I just went to the restroom without incident.

i alos got in twice in the first 15 minutes. Only got 1 set of tickets though. Blame UMFan

This is exactly like last year for me. Last year, I got in within 30 mins and got six tickets to the Sunday Red Sox game...then I was shut out until mid afternoon.

 

This year, I got six to the Friday White Sox and have been shut out since.

 

We'll see if the pattern repeats itself.

Last year I was in within 30 minutes got Red Sox tix, and then again 20 minutes later for WSox. This year, nada. Karma is a female dog I guess.

Just got 4 bleacher seats to the 8/18 game vs. the Cards. So that's two ticket purchases in less than an hour and a half. Last year I didn't get in once before 5PM CST. I'm pretty happy this year, needless to say.
