Yeah, it just doesn't seem like there would be much of an effect. As I noted in the other thread, there are going to be an additional 7 rows or so in the corners where the family and group sections used to be. In left and right center, only several rows. I don't see what 7 rows is going to do since each row is only approximately 18 inches.

 

The expansion is making the bleachers much deeper, but not necessarily higher. And as McGuire alluded to, with the buildings there, the impact is going to be even less.

The WGN Blog has some updated pictures of the construction. While I guess there's no way of being sure until games are played at Wrigley, I don't see it having any impact.

I haven't been pondering the HR effect, but I think it will cut down on the wind/breeze in the bleachers for better and for worse.

 

The windscreens had a noticeable impact when they were up.
