I think the first one looks pretty nice actually.

I don't see much of a change, but the Royals have always had one of the more underrated uniforms in baseball, and these are still good.

bleh, both of the alternate unis suck. I will never understand why some teams have black uniforms. It almost always looks horrible. But the regular home and away look very, very nice. I like it.

I like alternate jerseys because nothing is more boring than gray. That's why I'm such a big fan of the Cubs blue jerseys.

The script Kansas City gray is sweet, I'll buy one. If I chase down George at his restaurant, maybe I can get him to sign it. I'm a life-long, 4th generation, 100% Cub, but George Brett=God. Man, what a hitter.

I absolutely LOVE the alternate unis. Overall the Royals have some pretty sweet unis, just unfortunately the players they have wearing the unis, are not as good as the jersey.

 

Yow know what was ugly....those "Turn up the clock" futuristic POC that baseball had a few yrs back. Now those jersey's really did suck.

 

Now my goal is for the Cubs to drop those silly pinstripes on the home unis.

Pin striped should be the Cubs only home uniorm.

 

On the road either the gray or alternate would work.

 

Actually on secod thought, if they absolutely felt the need to keep the alternates at home, okay, just don't wear them with the pinstipe pants. That looks so bad. Might as well just wear it with all white pants.

 

Seeing the royals new unis though got me to think, a Blue alternate with cursive Chicago on the road would be cool. They used to have a cursive Cubs, and if I remember correctly had to ditch it because it looked like "Cuba". Chicago in cursive wouldn't have the same problem.

The Brew Crew is bringing back the powder blue road unis this year for select games, it would be nice to see the Royals do likewise.

 

I like the Cubs current set of uniforms, except they need to drop the alternates at home (Do the Yankees wear alternates at home???) and the stupid looking red bill on their caps for away games. I'd keep the gray uniform as-is; The block lettered CHICAGO looks sharp and is a bit more traditional than anything in script.

Chicago in cursive wouldn't have the same problem.

 

That would probably look to 'White Soxish', even with different colors, for many people.

I'd be open to modifications. It's ridiculous that the minor leaguers have jerseys nicer than the Cubs' alternates.

As a traditionalist, I like the road grays.

 

But I also like the red bills on the road caps. They're easily my favorite Cubs caps.

 

Our blue unis look like BP unis to me. I'm happy with the pinstripes at home and the traditional road grays. I wouldn't mind seeing a new look to the script/design of the grays- they're just a little plain as-is.
