Chicago Cubs prized prospect has turned 24.. Though he has not yet made it to Iowa, he still could be battling for a spot on the Major League 25-man roster. How far will he get?

Will get called up to start at some time in the year (probably around the time that Marcus Giles hits a line drive that is lined off of Wood and then ricochets to the dugout and hits Prior on the elbow.) to start a few games.

Ha. That's optimistic. You actually think Wood will pitch this year?

Guzman will have a 1.70 ERA at Iowa and the Cubs call him up and Dusty puts him in with bases loaded and no outs against the Cards. That's all my tea leaves say right now.

And the batter hits into a double play, but a run scores because the fielder doesn't throw to home. Dusty stops using him in key situations because, dude, I use youngsters in situations where they can succeed, and obviously Guzman can't succeed in bases loaded situations because he allows runners to score.
