Lovie costs the team 7. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to have figured out that the defense is not playing well.

But they had them stopped and we accepted the penalty. That really irks me.

It was a dumb call by Lovie (I'm sure he accepted because he figured Pitt would go for it on 4th and 1), but what irks me is Lance Briggs missing the tackle on the screen and the defense giving up 16 on 3rd and 13.

The Bears have stuffed several runs for losses already. I don't think they'd gamble giving the Bears the ball at midfield in a 4-point game.

Wow, they are bad today. Can having your safties out really turn you this bad?

The safeties aren't the only ones having trouble though. Urlacher and Briggs have both missed tackles, as have many others I'm sure.

Lovie's decision making when it comes to penallties, challenges, etc. at some point are going to cost the team a win.

Down 11 in the 1st half is the nightmare scenario for Turner, too, because he's going to likely have to let Orton throw more. We'll see how that works, but unless the D decide to tackle, it won't matter.

Minnesota taking the division? Come on now. It's not even a 1/2 of play. The offense has at least been better than usual. And even if they lose it's 1 damn game with a 2 game lead.

I disagreed with accepting it and was wondering why Lovie did it, but the defense played like crap there. No excuse for giving up a first down on 3rd and 13. It's not even like the D was tired, they were on the field much less than the offense.

I think the Defense will rebound in the 2nd half...they're going to get an earful, but the offense is going to have to actually do something.

Bryan Johnson still in the trainer's room and Nathan Vasher is having problems with both of his legs.

And this is horrible.

This game is over. The Bears offense is ridiculously predictable. That slant was a stupid call. Why don't they attack the middle of the field?

Maybe they should stop the stupid "freestyle walking" thing. Brown gt hurt in practice Thursday, but I saw tape of him screwing around before it started with that.
